The inspiration for this scene comes from the Shields River Valley, Horse Creek Road and the Crazy Mountains in Montana. It is a pastoral place of beauty and splendor — fields of growing crops and grazing herds, majestic mountains, days filled with the drama of storms, wind or bright sun and nights of star-studded skies. The people there find their routines and relationships defined by the seasons. In all this I see our Creator at work.
