Negative life circumstances can overwhelm us and cause a depressed, discouraged, heavy, pained, troubled spirit. The design mirrors how life can be - dark, hard to read and understand, multi-layered, complex.

With eyes of faith I can look into the next moment, take encouragement from Paul’s words that God never abandons me and know great joy in the Lord.
The cross in the design symbolizes suffering. God knows great suffering - struggle, loss, pain, separation. In God I find comfort, strength, understanding, compassion. God walks with me, never leaves or abandons me. Even though there is trouble and life is not easy, focus on God and Jesus brings much joy.
