The tan handmade St. Armand paper (with inclusions providing interesting texture) seemed a perfect surface and background for this text. The watercolor for the script lettering flowed easily from the pointed pen. The stacked Hebrew text was drawn, then painted with metallic watercolors. The first word of each column of Hebrew is gold leaf.
The text was originally designed as a wedding gift - a blessing for the couple as they began building their life and home.
