Teach Me B

Teach Me B

Title: Teach Me B
Media: watercolor on Arches; subtle Alleluia in background
Size of Original: 12 x 16.5 inches

This ancient liturgical prayer is from the Odes of Solomon, 2nd century. David Haas set it to music. Rob Strusinski, retired director of the Liturgical Choir at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Mn. used this as the choir theme song. The traditions continue with their new director, Aaron Brown, using this as the choir prayer for inspiration.

This is a beautiful opening to worship, petitioning for a deeper walk of truth and praise and recognizing God as the answer to all our needs.
